A deranged serial killer. An ambitious young detective. A case that could destroy everything he holds dear.
When a young woman is found raped and strangled along the Thames River path, it looks like a personal vendetta by an enraged ex-lover. Then two more women die in the same manner and it becomes clear that a deranged serial killer is on the loose. All three women were engaged to be married. Could this be the link between them?
The case is assigned to DI Rob Miller, a young, ambitious detective, whose job it is to catch the killer before any more women are murdered. Rob throws himself into the investigation to the detriment of his own fiancé who is trying to plan their wedding. When Rob begins to hone in on the killer, his fiancé disappears, and Rob knows it's only a matter of time before the killer makes this personal.
A brutal stabbing puts DCI Rob Miller on the trail of a serial revenge killer in this gritty, suspenseful thriller from Amazon bestselling author B.L. Pearce.
The body of a man is found in a residential home in west London. He’s been stabbed to death in what appears to be a frenzied rage attack. Newly promoted and recently married DCI Rob Miller is assigned the case.
As Rob delves into the victim’s past, he discovers the known felon was under surveillance by the National Crime Agency, who send their latest recruit, Rob’s ex-lover, Jo Maguire, to work with him on the case. When a second man is murdered with the same M.O. it becomes obvious the two deaths are linked.
The investigation leads them to London’s bourgeoning undercover sex industry and as they get more involved, they quickly realise that the murderer is leaving a blistering trail of revenge killings that are only going to escalate. Can DCI Miller and Jo work together to stop the murderer before he kills again?

Greetings from Surrey in the United Kingdom
We're pretty much in lock-down over here with this crazy virus going around. People are not going out, the cafes and restaurants are deserted and even the rush-hour traffic seems to have eased. It's all very strange and apocalyptic. On the bright side (if there is one), I've done a lot of stuff around the house. I painted my bookcase a light grey to match the walls and then spent a wonderful afternoon arranging my favorite books according to genre and size. Next up, is my bathroom which needs repainting.
I've also been writing furiously and finished my crime thriller, The Revenge Killer, which comes out at the end of this month. It's definitely not for the faint-hearted, but if you're hankering for a rivetingly good mystery, you can check it out here. I guarantee you won't guess whodunnit!
In other news, my cozy mystery publisher, Kensington, has been in touch with some exciting news. The cover for Death at a Country Mansion (Daisy Thorne English Cozy Mystery - Book 1) is ready. The first of the three-book series will be released later in the year under my cozy-writing pen name, Louise R. Innes, and then book 2 and 3 in 2021. I'll also be at Malice Domestic next year signing copies, so if you're in the area, I'd love to meet you. :)
If you're keeping a low profile like me for the next few weeks, keep busy, keep reading and keep your chin up (as we say in Britain).
